Published by rabbijaffe at 10:51 am under On My Mind Edit This

I know I already posted today, and I know that Michael Jackson is quickly becoming the most over-talked about subject in the history of America, but I felt like just chiming in a few words. But first, please watch another immortal video from good ole Michael:

If you didn’t catch all that, please play back the video paying careful attention the 1:00 mark where you’ll find these unforgettable words:

“Jew me, sue me

Everybody do me

Kick me, kike me

Don’t you black or white me”

If you would like to read more about this, go ahead: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Michael-Jackson-To-Apology-For-Alleged-Remarks-On-Jews-13239.shtml

While the world bows down to the grave of a legend, there’s one person who cannot help but remembering the bizarre, alleged molester, crotch-grabbing, potential anti-Semite.

Why did Michael Jackson have to apologize? The work Kike was
Jew on Jew racism. One of the few things I remember from College.

Although any of these explanations could be truthful, only Rosten’s (theory “a”) has the weight of strong oral history in its favor. All parties agree that the term was originally used by German Jews who had emigrated to the United States earlier in the 19th century to describe their later-arriving Ashkenazi counterparts. In its origins, kike was used by Jews to describe other Jews who they felt were vulgar, and from there it became appropriated as part of the American vocabulary of slang. Kike is still used to this day by Jews to describe other Jews who they feel are low in character. www.jtf.org/why.use.term.kike.htm

The following examples can only begin to tell the tale of one of the most widespread racial slurs of American origin. Kike is certainly the king of the pejorative terms for Jews, beating out yid, hymie, sheeny, and hebe hands down. Unlike yid, for instance, kike has never lost its bite, and is not considered funny by contemporary Jews. Although Jewish authors will use the term in their writing in order to accurately represent the hateful speech of others, they would not jokingly refer to themselves by that moniker. Kike has spread all over the English-speaking world, and can be heard in Great Britain and Australia.

Jackson was not a racist- he was in fact the opposite. You are wrong in the message that you are trying to spread about him. You obviously have not considered the double standard that there is in the music industry- words such as “nigger” are used in nearly all rap songs, and in some of Jackson’s song too. Where has there ever been any controversy following that? You are ruining the image of Jackson and you ought to be ashamed for trying to portray such a great man in this way- when he has only died two days earlier.

  3. Emilyon 29 Jun 2009 at 2:40 am edit this

He wasn’t racial at all, people are taking this the wrong way. The message in this song is being strongly misunderstood, why would he be a racist, he is in no way a racist person. This is the first time I’ve viewed this song video, and I didn’t see any racial controversy, you guys are just bored and need something to talk about. Just leave him alone already and move on with your boring lives.

  4. monicaon 30 Jun 2009 at 4:00 am edit this

Oh here we go again with the Jews and the Holocaust industry. Can’t even leave a guy alone even when he is dead.

    RIP Michael.

  5. Jewesson 30 Jun 2009 at 4:37 am edit this

The origins of the word “kike” has no relevance to how its used today. its a derogatory and racial slur. the word nigga is used in raps by black people. if Michael was Jewish then there would not be such an uproar.

It’s hard to put into words how weird MJ was- I never cared for his music- some was tolerable (to me), but others I could easily ignore. I grew up with MJ as part of the Jackson Five, and he began to slide off the weirdness scale when he went solo.
I personally think there was much that was unhealthy in his “relationships” with young boys, and while he was not convicted, that finding did not mean he was innocent, just not judged guilty. There IS a difference here,
The main problem I have is that of people looking at him as if he was a positive influence on anybody, but then I haven’t seen many people in the public eye these days I would let in my door- and that is a sad state of affairs.

  7. lifegrinderon 30 Jun 2009 at 2:44 pm edit this

For all those apologizing for the anti-semite known as MJ, consider the following:

A not so flattering message from Jacko was aired yesterday on “Good Morning America”.

“They suck…they’re like leeches…I’m so tired of it”, Jackson was telling his former adviser Dieter Wiesner. “The Jews do it on purpose.”

He was not using those slurs in the song to bring notice to minorities, he doesn’t like Jews and he has stated that more than once (including the recording of him saying it).

Stop defending the man. He was one of the, if not the, best entertainers of our generation. He was still a twisted, demented, BIGOTED and racsict little boy trapped in a “mans?” body. Anybody who didn’t think he touched little boys either is either ignorant or in denial. The man was a molestor and pervert.

I’ll say it, I’m glad he is dead.

  8. gomphiasison 02 Jul 2009 at 5:44 pm edit this

    @lifegrinder

you are an ass, and in no position to judge michael jackson.
perhaps he developed his general opinion of the ashkenazi through
experience. who filed the dozens and dozens of lawsuits against
him over the years? is it possible that his dislike of certain people
was justified? if a certain group of people seemed to relentlessly
target you and were the cause of endless stress in your life how
might you feel about those people? besides , who is anyone kidding?
as if jewish people don’t love to be hated, as if they don’t love to be
perceived as victims… their masochism is a cultural trait.

anybody who thinks otherwise is either ignorant or in denial.

I’m an Ashkenazi Jew. Well I am by heritage anyways, even if I’m not, as an adult, part of the culture or religion.

    However.

I am a huge fan of Michael. I love him dearly and he loved me dearly. I am certain that he did not molest little children. He helped millions of them all around the world and did more for victims of war and famine than any other entertainer in history, period. He has a big heart, aside from his imperfections, and has touched people so deeply with is music.

He also went through a lot of emotional torment by the media since he was born that has not been experienced by another human yet in history. You can just imagine what that would do to someone.

Do I think he had positive intentions towards the world? Yes. Hence, “Heal The World” and “Heal The World Foundation”.

I am trying to read as much as possible to understand the meaning of his words in the song. At first glance it looks really bad and anti-semitic, but I’ve also seen interviews where when questioned about these lyrics, he states that he loves and cares for everyone, Jews, Arabs, everyone. I’ve heard different theories on it that he was including Jews with Blacks in the song as a race that is unfairly picked on. I’ve also heard that it’s used in an anti-Jew context, which is the first thing that occurred to me.
If it was meant in an anti-semitic context, then it does have to do with the nasty people who happen to be Jewish who have assaulted him mentally and emotionally throughout his life. If so, we have to ask ourselves who we should be turning our blame on; Michael for reacting this way, or the cruel morons who assaulted him with their hatred in the first place and MADE JEWS LOOK BAD ENOUGH FOR ONE OF THE MOST CARING PEOPLE ON EARTH TO SAY THAT IN THEIR SONG.

As far as I knew, he doesn’t exclude Jewish children from his Heal The World foundation.

Random thoughts, trying to piece it together and look at it objectively before I come to a personal conclusion on it.

I have to say though, the Jews with the most power right now are NOT making us look good. Come to think of it, pretty much everyone in power right now really sucks.

If we’re going to criticize others for being anti-Jew, maybe we should stop worshipping a book where we proudly stomp on, mutilate, and enslave everyone else even after it happens to us, even though we had it happen to ourselves and then didn’t learn - we should also stop being complete idiots in Isreal, and we should do something about the disgusting World Bankers that make us look so bad. That’s right.

If he did in fact say that we do it to ourselves (I have to look up that interview now to see for myself), it’s certainly true of our most influential members who are representing us. Most Jews seem to be egocentrically supporting these evil nuts too, which doesn’t help.

If we are going to criticize others for criticizing us, that means letting go of this disgusting Zionistic “we are God’s chosen brats” egocentrism complex, it’s not flattering.

On the other hand I don’t use racial slurs against Arabs and I really don’t like the way much of their societies are acting now either.

    RIP Michael.

This is all just spoken from my heart and trying to understand so please, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Try not to be too upset with my words, I have the best of intentions for everyone.

I’m also a singer-songwriter, most of my songs are about Peace on Earth, and Michael’s performance of “Heal The World” at the Superbowl is to date the most inspiring thing I’ve ever seen.

I love him dearly and he loved me dearly. I am certain that he did not molest little children, as anyone who has learned enough about him through the lyrics of his songs, philanthropy, speeches, and the records of those who accused him. Is it possible to be a great talent, give tremendous charity and be a child molester? I think so. unfortunately. Is it possible to say t doesn’t matter if you’re black or white and yet stereotype in an ugly way? Well you know the answer.
I think that with great talent comes great responsibility. If he molested children, is this offset by the tremendous good he has obviously done?
As for the stereotyping. Anti-semitism is racism and there is no justification for it. This is not about jews, it’s about all racism, towards jews and all people.
Michael went through a great deal, but he was no saint.
The racism is clearly uncalled for, but what
i really pray is that he didn’t harm the children in his bed.

you shuold post the entire song’s lyrics, then you will see how obvious it is a song about HATE and how much hatred there is, the jew slurs are clearly there to stress that Jews are victims of hate.

    MICHAEL THE NARC-ANGEL

Millions of little members of the worldwide F.F.A. (Future Followers of the Antichrist) have finally learned how to find a certain part of their lower anatomy and quickly touch it while dancing - thanks to Michael Jackson, the highest paid Lower Anatomy Toucher of all time! Special thanks also go to the Jesus-bashing, Hell-bound Hollywood moguls who were just as quick to see higher profits in lower anatomies! [Just saw this opinion on the web. Other grabby items on MSN, Google, etc. include “Separation of Raunch and State,” “David Letterman’s Hate, Etc.,” “Tribulation Index becomes Rapture Index,” and “Bible Verses Obama Avoids.” - something for everyone!]

Michael Jackson was a blantant anti-semite. You guys are making him out to be some Godly being. He was a child molester, anti-semite and a drug addict. We are a better world without this scumbag in it.

I cant believe some of you idiots think it’s OK for him to use the word “kike” because the word “nigger” is used in rap songs. You do realize it’s blacks using that word, not white people. And the last time I checked, Whacko Jackson wasnt a Jew (thank God for that). Instead of “Jew Me, Sue Me, Kick Me, Kike Me” I guess it would be ok for me, a white guy, to sing “Black Me, Smack Me, Nigger Me, Trigger Me?”

  17. Brandynon 15 Jul 2009 at 2:03 am edit this

    WOW!!!
Why didnt you put “black” or “white” in bold…
this is just another perfect example of a person that hates Michael and tries hard to make his fans turn on him…
There is absolutley nothing racist about this song
    (IT’S AN ANIT-RACISM SONG).
He is saying to not label him as a Jew, black, or white man but as a human being.

  18. Yaelon 18 Jul 2009 at 4:27 pm edit this

    ding dong, the racist’s gone.

you people defending this asshole are complete morons. its one thing to like a person’s music, its another thing to stand behind his bigoted rants and defend him.

then again, i bet you are all 12-year-olds anyway. i’ve never seen anybody over that age hero worshipping a pop star. usually by the one a person reaches adulthood, they’ve gained a little quality called “emotional maturity” - a developmental stage it doesn’t look like most of you idiots have reached yet.

  19. nonnyon 29 Jul 2009 at 2:11 am edit this

Brandyn & Other Sloppy Thinkers: there is absolutely nothing racist in this song? Really? I would by that argument if the lyrics went something like:

    jew me, do me
    kick me, Spic me
    bag me, fag me

    etc…

but no. it is only the jews he targets, which makes it perfectly clear that he is not lamenting the evils of anti-semitism in the world. Just the opposite: “They” - who “don’t really care about us” - are the ones he perceives as wielding their power (the jews, of course), against a helpless. oppressed world. Classic anti-semitism.

It makes me sad because I’ve always adored Michael Jackson.

  20. CaribbeanGon 31 Jul 2009 at 8:37 am edit this

For those of you that get offended by words and lyrics….grow up, our people (all people) have been suffering since the beginning of time and its hard to imagine life has not made your skin tough as leather by now, no matter what color or ethnic box you like to choose on a form.

Instead of looking at the LCD screen in front of you and doing your “part” to make things right you should be outside making a difference in your communities…in my humble opinion. The song has some strong words ok, don’t play it, don’t watch the video…I see it as a song that is bringing the issue of racism and bigotry to the forefront, its meant to be uncomfortable.

I by no means defend MJ or his lifestyle…but so many from different ethnic backgrounds made money off of MJ when he was alive, and a lot more will even after his death.

  21. Audreyon 02 Aug 2009 at 5:09 pm edit this

It’s obvious that most people calling MJ racist for this song did not read all the lyrics, they just heard the 2 phrases that sound bad at first but they didn’t take the time to read the rest of the lyrics to understand what he is talking about. He is bringing attention to racism and he is HELPING the Jews with this song! I am a Jew myself and I am NOT offended…I love Michael very much and I know how much he loved everyone. His heart was pure, innocent, compassionate, and child-like.
The following lyrics in this song prove exactly what he means:

“I’m tired of bein’ the victim of shame
They’re throwing me in a class with a bad name
I can’t believe this is the land from which I came”

He means that racism is created because of several bad people that happen to fit the stereotype. He wants people to stop labeling others if they do something wrong and to just realize a “bad” person from a “good” person and that behavior has nothing to do with someone’s race. Hence, “They’re throwing me in a class with a bad name”. He is speaking about how ignorant people are of accusing African Americans for certain things and how he doesn’t want to be accused of that just because he is that race. He is also talking about the change in his color of skin because of his skin disease, vitiligo, and how he doesn’t want to be labeled black or white…he wants to be seen as a person. He doesn’t want all Jews to be seen as greedy and with that stereotype because he knows that is not true. He is sick of people judging others by labeling them. He is defending the Jews!!
People need to take the time to read all of the lyrics to understand that this is a powerful song AGAINST all racism!!!

Besides, Debbie Row- the biological mother of 2 of his children- is Jewish!! That would mean that his children are half-Jewish or 100% Jewish if you believe that Dr. Klein (a longtime dermatologist of Michael’s who is Jewish) is the biological father. Some people think that Michael is the biological father because he had a lot of white and native american in his family history, so his kids could indeed be mixed and look like that. But others believe that Dr. Klein is the bilogical father, which is also very possible. He maintained a close friendship with Michael and his children.
Either way, his children have Jewish blood in them. Michael could not hate the Jews, if his own children are Jewish. Think about it!! He loved his children more than anything and Michael was always very loving of all races and always trying to END racism!!!
The fact that his children are are Jewish proves that this horrible rumor is exactly that- a rumor. Michael loved all races and never judged anyone!!!

  22. l manerson 13 Aug 2009 at 7:10 pm edit this

Well , all I think is that if he meant anything from saying it ..it came from the way people treated Him He tried to help the world to be a better place from everyone & any race . and no matter what He did they still tried to find something bad in it , So yes you would get where would have to write song to express your hurt , but he did alot more good on this earth han he did bad .. and I’m sure alot more people think that than they do thinking he was some monster ..
All I know is I hate their isn’t more like him in this world .. He was a great man and will be greatly missed by many .
We love ya Michael always .. Fly high Our Angel YOU LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER !!! We miss you ..

Listen to the next line after that…
“Don’t you black or white me”.
The whole song was about being treated equally.
Racism is wrong and I’m not trying to defend it but honestly?
Michael was a humanitarian and a good person. We all have problems, must we point out others? So “Lindy” you are just as much as a hypocrite as you say the others are.
So now, everyone is getting upset that Michael wrote about Jewish people (I’m not saying I agree, one of my best friends is Jewish.) even though he was repeatedly a victim himself.
    He “bleached his skin”?
    I prove my point.
REST IN PEACE MICHAEL! NO ONE CAN HURT YOU ANYMORE!!!

  26. Carly Jeanon 03 Jan 2010 at 12:39 pm edit this

    The poor man…
Everyone gets so upset to hear someone say something about Jewish people, but it seems that no one cares about the things rappers are saying now.
Ever listen to lyrics of songs by Trina?
The guy in the truck next to us was playing it full blast when my 9-year-old brother was in the car.
“I got an ass so big like the sun / Hope you got a mile for a dick I wanna run / Slap it in my face, shove it down my throat / Nigga where your blunt I can make this pussy smoke / I know how to fuck, I know how to ride / I can spin around and keep the dick still inside / Now your mouth wide you looking real scared / I’m a maneater headhunter I’m prepared.”
I’m in awe that this is not considered disrespectful.
All of you need to mind your own business and leave others alone. Or at least take your anger out on those still ALIVE.
